How to Brush Your Teeth to Keep a Shiny Smile
September 13, 2022
To effectively brush your teeth, it’s now enough to hastily go over your teeth with a brush along the teeth row. To keep your smile healthy and beautiful, you need to brush your teeth correctly. To do this, follow these steps:
- Rinse your mouth with warm water.
- Rinse your toothbrush and squeeze a pea-sized amount of toothpaste onto it (yes, a whole strip of toothpaste is more of a marketing ploy).
- Move the brush from molars to incisors (from the far teeth to the front teeth), thoroughly cleaning each tooth and interdental spaces. Go over the upper row first, then the lower row.
- Move the brush from the gums to the edge of the teeth, as if sweeping away unnecessary food debris.
- Clean the back of the teeth the same way.
- Brush the chewing part of the teeth from front to back.
- Then continue brushing in gentle circular motions over the entire front surface of the teeth.
- At the end, rinse your mouth thoroughly with warm water and wash your brush.
- Additionally, clean the interdental spaces with dental floss.
Remember to brush your teeth every day after waking up and before going to bed. During the day, you should rinse and floss after meals.
